Cyber Security Audit was quick

Needed a Cyber Security Audit. Theta did it. Straightforward process, fast report. Got what I needed without fuss.

Dynamics 365 implementation review

We went with Theta for our Dynamics 365 Implementation. The team was knowledgeable, and the project delivery was mostly smooth. They really understood our business needs, which was a big plus. The communication was pretty good throughout, though there were a couple of times I had to follow up for updates. Overall, a solid experience and the system is working well, but a bit more proactive communication would make it perfect.

Easy experience getting IT support

So, our old IT setup was a mess, and we needed some Managed IT Services. Reached out to Theta, and they were pretty chill to deal with. Got a quote pretty fast, and they just handled everything. The transition was way less painful than I thought it would be. Our systems are actually working properly now, which is a huge relief.

Good value for cloud migration

I was looking for the best deal on Cloud Transformation services and found Theta. They offered a complimentary digital assessment, which was super helpful in understanding the scope without any upfront cost. The overall pricing for the migration project felt very fair, especially considering the expertise involved. It was definitely worth the investment for our company.

Are there any promo codes floating around for Theta's Dynamics 365 stuff? Or is it all custom pricing?

M Megan 1 month ago
Nah, don't think they do promo codes like a regular store. It's more about custom agreements for their services.

From what I understand, it's not coupon-based. You'd probably discuss a specific project and they'd quote you based on that, maybe with some enterprise or volume discounts if it's big enough.

Is Theta a New Zealand owned company? Trying to keep things local.

C Carly T. 1 month ago
Yep, 100% NZ owned. That's one of their selling points.

C Chris 1 month ago
For sure, completely NZ-owned and operated. It's in their branding everywhere.

Thinking about getting a cyber security audit done. Anyone know how long that usually takes or if they offer some kind of free initial chat?

K Kate G. 1 month ago
I got a free consultation for a cloud migration once, so I bet they do for cyber too. Just hit up their contact form.

Yeah, they offer a complimentary digital assessment. So you can probably get a good overview without committing to anything first.

Hey, wondering if Theta does anything special for non-profits? Trying to get some IT help for our charity.

D Dana Kim 1 month ago
Yeah, I remember seeing something about non-profit pricing on their site. I'd just reach out to them directly for a quote.

They definitely do. My buddy works for a smaller non-profit and Theta gave them a pretty good deal on some managed services. Worth asking about.

How do they charge for project work? Is it like a flat fee or hourly rates, generally speaking?

S Sophie Marsh 2 months ago
My company used them for a big data project and it was a fixed price agreement, but I think they can do hourly too depending on the scope.

M Marcus 2 months ago
I think it varies. Best to get a proper quote for your specific project. They're pretty transparent about it though.

Does Theta only work with huge corporations, or do they also help out smaller businesses with their IT needs?

B Brett C. 1 month ago
They mainly focus on enterprise clients, that's their sweet spot. Don't think they're really set up for small mom-and-pop shops.

B Beth 1 month ago
I've only ever seen them mentioned for bigger companies, like, proper enterprise stuff. Probably not the best fit for a really small business.

Considering Theta for some Azure Cloud stuff, but also looking at Datacom. Anyone have experience comparing the two for cloud services in NZ?

A Alex 2 months ago
I've heard good things about both, but Theta's really focused on the Microsoft stack, so if you're deep into Azure, they might have a slight edge.

B Beth 2 months ago
Datacom is massive, so they have a huge range. Theta feels a bit more specialized in certain areas. Depends on what you need exactly, but Theta's Azure expertise is pretty solid from what I gather.
